I have made the decision to release FU under a Creative Commons Attribution 3.0 Unported license. This is a very flexible license that will allow all of the game’s fans out there to play around with it, hack it, and use it for their own purposes without any fear of “stepping on my toes” or the need to ask my permission. There have been some amazing hacks and complete games created based on FU, and I think the least I can do is make it accessible to everyone in the easiest form possible. For those of you interested in such things, this is the same license that Evil Hat have released Fate Core under. For more details on using FU with the CC-BY license, visit this page. I have also updated the FU PDF over at RPGnow so that it includes the new CC-BY license. It has a new cover without images, because I did not want to cause any confusion about what was CC and what was not. I have also made FU available as a Pay What You Want product. This means you and your friends can still get FU for free and share it however you like, but if you enjoy the game and want to buy me a cup of coffee, you can do that too!
I hope this change in licensing makes it much easier for you to enjoy, share and create new games based on FU!
